November 2023: EWN Meeting featuring Annie Harala

Stubbed Toes, Deep Breaths & A Whole Lotta Grace

Annie Harala built her career by showing up in an authentic, compassionate, and bold way. It is her deep desire to help women find ways to step into their leadership path from any room they enter. Join us as she shares personal stories and digs into conversations in the room about being present for the greatest needs in our community. During her presentation, Annie's goal is that each woman in attendance walks away with one action item for taking their next leadership step.

About Our Speaker

Annie Harala has spent the last 12 years working in business, nonprofits, schools, and local government. She has extensive experience working in greater Minnesota’s rural and urban communities in policy, community strategizing, and public relations. She has worked in grant management, community organizing, communications and sales, for nonprofits, government entities and a highway heavy construction company. She holds a degree in Public Relations with a minor in English from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Currently, Annie serves as the District 1 Commissioner on the St Louis County Board and co-owns Story North Productions. 

In addition, at home, she has two teens, two toddlers, and a locally famous dog. Annie reports that she enjoys a deep laugh at least twice daily.

MEAL SERVICE: Our venue allows us to bring in outside food, so we invite you to BYOL - Bring Your Own Lunch! Coffee and water will be available. If desired, you may bring your own food and beverage, such as a bagged lunch or take-out meal. Dessert will be provided for all by our November Dessert Sponsor, the Law Office of Yvonne Michaud Novak.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: There will be "Announcement" forms on the tables that you can fill out and give to your table host. After the speaker is done, there will be time for table hosts to share all announcements with the group. MEMBERSHIP: We are updating our membership terms to make it easier for all to track and maintain.
