Thank you for your interest in joining the Empowered Women's Network! EWN Membership runs from September 1st to August 31st each year and costs $50. New Members who join mid-season are prorated.

• EWN Meeting prices: $12 for pre-registered members and $15 for non-members and anyone registering at the door on the day of the meeting.

Pre-pay for your annual membership and that season's meetings each September and get a discount on the monthly meeting price. The meeting price for pre-registered members is $12, and $15 for non-members and walk-ins. With this membership, both your annual membership fee of $50 and the nine meetings (current season only) at $10 each are all included, a total savings of $18 on member pricing, and $45 over non-member pricing!

You can still register for upcoming EWN meetings on our website and purchase a boxed lunch, but you no longer have to pay the meeting fee each month. Need to miss a meeting? Easily transfer your registration to another person from your EWN Dashboard. 

This type of membership is free and is for those interested in being a speaker/presenter at an upcoming EWN meeting.

Our board does the behind-the-scenes work that makes the Empowered Women's Network a fun, empowering, and wonderful community for local women. Our Board Members are amazing women, and we are grateful for your interest in joining us to make the magic happen! Here is some more information on us, and what we are looking for...

THE EWN season runs from September - May, but our board works year-round. If you are selected, we ask that you agree to serve 1-3 years. After your term ends, you can reapply after a one-year break - and we encourage it!

What are the requirements to serve on the board?

• Be passionate about connecting and empowering women!
• Hold an active EWN Membership ($50/year) during your Board term.
• Actively attend EWN events and meetings (we ask for at least 75% attendance), usually held on the 2nd Friday of the month, September through May.
• Attend monthly board meetings (we meet about 10 days before each meeting - we alternate between in-person and virtual meetings).
• Attend a 3-4 hour planning session in June of each year. For this year, the Strategic Planning Session is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 PM. Location TBD.

Expectations if selected as an EWN Board Member:

In addition to the requirements above, we are a working board - meaning that all board members are expected to volunteer their time and skills to make this organization function and flourish. We divide duties based on interest, ability, and time - do you have a unique skill or talent you can bring to the team? Make sure to list it in your application! During our in-person meetings and events, we ask our board members to help set up, take down, help with registration, etc., and prioritize making all of our members and guests feel welcome. We love a team player!
