An estimated 79 million US employees are directly targeted or are witnesses to workplace bullying every year. Targets of workplace bullying suffer significant impacts to their emotional well-being, physical health, and financial stability. This presentation is based on the book, Outwit the Workplace Bully: 8 Steps You Need to Know to Reclaim Your Career, Confidence, and Sanity. Learn directly from the author as she shares:

About Our Speaker

Dawn is an author, learning and development professional, and the founder of On the Rise Development. She is a passionate advocate for thriving workplaces and uses her business to help leaders and teams increase their effectiveness. Dawn’s first book, Outwit the Workplace Bully, was published in early 2022. She earned her B.A. in Psychology along with an MBA and a Master of Arts in Management, all from The College of St. Scholastica.

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Our venue, Country Inn and Suites, has a large conference room that will allow plenty of space for social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not required. Hand sanitizer will be available.

MEAL SERVICE: Our venue allows us to bring in outside food, so we invite you to BYOL - Bring Your Own Lunch! Coffee and water will be available. If desired, you may bring your own food and beverage, such as a bagged lunch or take-out meal. Dessert will be provided for all by our September Dessert Sponsor, Members Cooperative Credit Union.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: There will be "Announcement" forms on the tables that you can fill out and give to your table host. After the speaker is done, there will be time for table hosts to share all announcements with the group. MEMBERSHIP: We are updating our membership terms to make it easier for all to track and maintain. Instead of annual memberships that renew on January 1 each year, you may now purchase a one-year ($40) or recurring membership ($35/year) on any date, and it will be good for one year from that date.
