Alicia is known amongst her peers and family as a very positive, always forward-thinking, and intentional person. Alicia will share how success in your work doesn't always equal happiness, especially if you are in the wrong career. Her first career out of college was in radio advertising sales. She worked her way up the corporate ladder very quickly and was managing 12 radio stations at the age of 26 after just 5 years in the business. Unhappy in her position and unsure of her path in her profession, she powered on and made the best of the circumstances. When faced with a decision from upper management to step down from her position, Alicia learned that taking control of your own life is the KEY to everything!  Alicia’s inspiring story of personal growth will get you charged up for the new year so you can BE YOUR BEST YOU in 2022!

About Our Speaker

Alicia has been a full-time Realtor in the Duluth/Superior area since 2005.  She is a Twin Cities native but moved to Duluth in 1995 to attend college. She graduated from UMD with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. After a 5-year career in radio just out of college, Alicia took control of her destiny when released from that position and never looked back. She’s consistently a top 10 real estate agent of over 450 agents in the area. Channeling her forward-thinking spirit, she’s currently working on an invention for the real estate industry. Her hobbies include running (she has run several half and full marathons), Reiki (she became a Reiki Master last year and incorporates the practice into her business), and music. Alicia lives in Hermantown with her husband, 2 kids, and 2 dogs.

A FEW UPDATES...

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Our new venue, Country Inn and Suites, has a large conference room that will allow plenty of space for social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not required. 

MEAL SERVICE: We will no longer be offering a buffet-style lunch during our meetings. Our new venue allows us to bring in outside food, so we have new options for you!  Ticket Options: 

1. Meeting Only (no meal provided) - $10. Coffee and water will be available. If desired, you may bring your own food and beverage, such as a bagged lunch or take-out meal.  2. Pre-order a Boxed Meal from The Boat Club - $25 (includes meal and meeting). The boxed meals will contain a sandwich or wrap, fruit/veg, side, and dessert. Meals must be pre-ordered and pre-paid by the preceding Wednesday and will be available for pick-up at the beginning of the meeting. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS: To streamline the announcements time we are trying a new system this year. There will be "Announcement" forms on the tables that you can fill out and give to your table host. After the speaker is done, there will be time for table hosts to share all announcements with the group. After the meeting, your announcement will be posted on our Facebook page at facebook.com/ewnnorthland and in our EWN Members Facebook Group: EWN Conversations & Connections.

MEMBERSHIP: We are updating our membership terms to make it easier for all to track and maintain. Instead of annual memberships that renew on January 1 each year, you may now purchase a one-year ($40) or recurring membership ($35/year) on any date, and it will be good for one year from that date. The recurring membership will automatically renew each year using your entered payment method until you cancel. Cancel at any time!
